CDC 6/7/8 都有一个集成Waves 接口卡通过cat5e 线提供连接到Waves MultiRack Soundgrid 。 音频从CDC 6/7/8 后面板上的集成接口卡到Soundgrid 服务器，经过处理再回到调台。
这就让Waves 录音级插件的64 通道可以同时与CDC 6/7/8本身的效果一起运行，且Waves 图形用户界面会显示在调音台的屏幕上用于控制。
还可以直接连接到Soundgrid 服务器，接口可以直接地连接标准的手提电脑，一旦Waves Soundgrid Studio 应用安装好后，将会连接到几乎任何DAW（ 数字音频工作站）软件。
这就可以让你使用最喜欢的第三方软件、多轨录音、播放和“虚拟试音”。
Waves 处理可以用相同的方式路由到已有的Cadac 输入输出舞台盒，也可以作为效果处理的发送和返回，或可以路由并用作插入，灵活性非常大。
每台CDC 6/7/8 都特有Waves SoundGrid 界面，当连接到合适的笔记本电脑或者台式机时，并安装Waves 的“Tracks”软件，就可以录多达64 轨的24-bit, 96 kHz 音频。你电脑上装了Waves 的Studio 应用后，任何数字音频工作站都可以用于多轨录音。
CDC 8 的128 路输入通道和CDC 6 的64 路输入通道的每一路都有两个输入。这些可以轻易配置成话筒/ 回放，并在触屏上进行全域内两者之间切换。
